Nona, you went on the paddle to Whitby last weekend, and you seemed happy enough with Catherine, so you have been canoeing recently, even if you didn't go to a pool session.
I believe even Lance will be there this weekend - Demonstrating Capsize Drills!
Yay! other kids usually go to the pool sessions, but not on the river trips! :-(
You've got to start somewhere....And you can't frighten the life out of them just throwing them (beginners) straight onto a river....you'll have that pleasure at uni :)) - it happened to me, first major river was the Conway in flood, gd 4+.
Don't forget they have to be capable of paddling 2* and above.
I think Daniel is going next Sunday.
