Club Camp at Keswick August 2009

Yes, it rained. Again. A lot! But we had fun despite the flood warnings, and luckily the rapidly rising water level never quite made it up as far as the tents (or the pub!). High winds meant that only one whole group paddle could be arranged, although several hardy souls took trips onto Derwent Water and many chose to swim in it despite the cold. The Saturday evening cycle was split into road cyclists and mountain bikers - though both groups managed to arrive at the same pub at the same time!

Well done to Ian and Richard for completing this gruelling charity triathlon - and well done to club members for their generous sponsoring of our intrepid duo.
